2026 Climate Voter Resources are live!

As we did in 2022 and 2024, this year the GR Climate Coalition is helping our supporters and residents around Grand Rapids and Kent County turn out to vote and make informed voting decisions. We want everyone in our community to have access to information about where candidates stand on issues of climate and environmental justice.

We want to raise climate higher on peoples' list of voting priorities. And we want to make it easier for the community to elect officials who will step up and deliver strong and equitable climate policy — and hold them accountable if they don't. (Note: GR Climate Coalition has never endorsed any candidates.)

 

In the last three local elections we have done this through:

1. Candidate Responses to survey questions on climate and environmental issues. Our 2026 Candidate Responses page is live for several local races.

2. Yard Signs — you may have seen our 'Climate Voter' signs around town. They are back for 2026. (If you already have one, set it out.)
